Will i be able to burn Home Movies to Blu-ray Disk with…?
Hi i was wondering whether i will be able to burn my Home Movies from a Full-HD Camcorder to a Blu-ray Disk using a Dell Studio XPS 8100 obviously if i get it with a Blu-ray RW
The reason i am asking is because i also want a gaming PC so i thought i will kill to birds with one stone, so will i be able to do this or will i just have to buy a Blu-ray Recorder?
Thanks.

Yes you should be able to do that no problem.
You will need to find a program that can handle at least burning BD-R/W discs. Most of the newest versions of any type of burning program should support it. I use and recommend Nero but there are swarms of others available.
I’m not sure of the editing features of the newest version of Nero, but 7 is limited to the very basics. If you want to do more than cut parts out of your videos, make a menu and/or chapters you may also need to look into an HD video editing software. There are also plenty of those available but I have no recommendation here as I haven’t used any.
Good luck!
they use a blue laser.
normal disc burners use a red laser.
